Online PLC program monitoring

S5/S7 for Windows can monitor blocks in the PLC real-time as well as debug and modify programs. To monitor, select "Display block status" from the Presentation menu, which is available when editing a block. The block status appears as a color band around the CPU icon in the on-line tree view. Editing of the program on-line is done using the block editor in on-line mode. Online mode is indicated by a green background in the block editor window. A yellow background indicates offline.
