ODBC Client Driver with Firebird database
I'm trying to get the ODBC Client Driver to work with my Firebird 1.5 database (using the stable ODBC driver)- but I cannot get it to connect to the database. Do you have any known issues with Firebird or can you help me figure out why it doesn't work?
I'm running the demo right now- but we're evaluating using TOP Server with the ODBC Client driver to bridge our database to OPC.
We have not tested with this database. Even though it has an ODBC interface it may only support ODBC record sets. We are designed to work with ODBC Dynasets.
These are the ODBC databases that it has been tested with successfully:
Access, SQL, MySQL, Excel, CSV, and Text. And Oracle 8 or lower
