I can't import my Logix database from my ControlLogix device

When trying to load my Logix database from my device, I get the following errors.

ControlLogix Ethernet The following error(s) occurred retrieving controller project. Resorting to symbolic addressing.
ControlLogix Ethernet CIP Connection timed-out while uploading project information. 
ControlLogix Ethernet Retrieval of controller project failed, resorting to symbolic addressing.

How can I get my database loaded into TOP Server?

Please take these steps:

1. Increase your Inactivity Watchdog. 
2. If you have it enabled, disable Auto-Demotion on each of the devices.
3. Try disabling data collection on the other devices (if more than one device) and then try to auto-generate the  tags from the device.  

You can also import your tags from an RSLogix .l5k file by choosing the .l5k file from the Logix Database Settings tab on the device properties in TOP Server.
