Can't connect to TOP Server by SuiteLink while TOP Server is running as a service

I am unable to connect to the TOP Server via SuiteLink and the FastDDE/SuiteLink tab is not visible while it is configured as a service.

  1. Go to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\ArchestrA folder and open the folder properties.
  2. Select the Securities tab.
  3. Make sure that the System account has been added.
  4. Click the advanced button and make sure the System account has allow full access added.  These settings are inherited from the parent folder so that the "Inherit from Parent...." check box may need to be unchecked to add the setting.

This should add the FastDDE/SuiteLink tab in the server and allow SuiteLink connections.
