Problems connecting to GE Fanuc Multilin UR Relay with TOP Server GE EGD Driver

I am trying to use the TOP Server GE Fanuc Suite Ethernet Global Data (EGD) driver to communicate with my GE Fanuc Multilin UR Relay's producer exchange.  I keep getting the following error for my consumer exchange:

"The driver has not been properly configured to receive exchange (x) from producer (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)."

I have verified my settings.  Why can't I communicate?

There is an issue with the documentation for the GE Fanuc Multilin UR Relays that gives incorrect information about how the producer exchanges are defined on the relay.

The GE Fanuc Multilin UR Relays have 3 different producer exchanges:

  1. Fast Producer Exchange - Exchange # is 1
  2. Slow Producer Exchange 1 - Exchange # is 2
  3. Slow Producer Exchange 2 - Exchange # is 3

You will want to verify which producer exchange you are using and that your exchange number in your consumer exchange in TOP Server matches this.

Other things to be aware of that can generate this same error are:

  1. Your Consumed Period in your TOP Server consumer exchange needs to be the same as the data rate for your producer exchange on the relay
  2. The Update Timeout in your TOP Server consumer exchange needs to be 10 milliseconds greater than the Consumed Period.
