Accessing Quality and Timestamp in InTouch

I am accessing items from OmniServer in my InTouch application.  How do I display the timestamp and quality for my items?

InTouch SuiteLink connections do support quality and timestamp information for items.  The key to displaying those values in InTouch is through using the Intouch Dotfields.  These are a group of sub-properties that can be displayed for any item, including those accessed through an I/O server such as OmniServer or TOP Server.

For example, to access the quality of the Status item in OmniServer, you would create a String Value Display and use "Status.QualityStatusString" as the item name.  To access the Time and Day information for the last update of the Status item in OmniServer, you would create a String Value Display and use "Status.TimeTimeString" as the item name.

There are several different formats of these Dotfield properties available, with some requiring an Integer Value display.  Please refer to your InTouch Help documentation for more information about defining Dotfields in your InTouch application.
