Error with PKTX card after a Frame Error (Not Recoverable)

Working on a new application with a PKTX Card using DH-485.  We've seen a couple times in the last 24 hours where we get some sort of communication error (happens occasionally) but as you'll see from the error export, after the comm error, a "Functionality Test" is run, fails and then won't recover/reset the board diagnostic failure.  Even if I shutdown & restart the OPC server, it won't come back.  The ONLY way to get it to reset is to do a HARD REBOOT of the machine.

What can we do?

We have found two reasons for this kind of thing in the past.
  1. Try adjusting your Windows power management options so that the computer does not attempt to go into a low-power state.  The low-power state may keep DH+ cards such as the PKTX or PKTX-D from operating normally.
  2. This error may occur due to a conflict between our server and RSLinx.  Please make sure that RSLinx is completely uninstalled.

(In this case there was no RSLinx running, but the problem was the power management settings)
