DNP Drivers: What is the definition of an event poll?

What is the definition of an event poll? Is it all of the data that has changed since the last event poll, all the data that has changed since the last transmission of unsolicited events, or something else?

It is all the event data that have changed since the last successful report, which may have been an unsolicited message from the slave or an event poll from the master. If an event category is not assigned a class in the slave, change events will not be reported.

Regarding change reporting: The DNP driver makes no changes to a DNP slave's configuration. It is the operator's responsibility to configure the DNP slave to properly report changes in response to event polls or via unsolicited messages.  Refer to the documentation for the particular slave device.

Actively enabling/disabling unsolicited messages is the extent to which we touch a slave's configuration.
