My analog points in the TOP Server DNP3 driver do not update on an event poll or via unsolicited messaging, but they do update on an integrity poll.

This could apply to other DNP slaves as well, but we will address the MultiSmart directly in this response.

You need to check the deadband settings on your points.  If the point value is changing less than the deadband, then the MultiSmart does not queue an event to be sent unsolicited or to be polled by an event poll. However, the integrity poll will update all points with the current value. 

To check the deadband settings on the MultiSmart Pump Controller do the following:

1. Click Settings ⇒ More ⇒ Communications ⇒ DNP3
2. Select the appropriate point type (Analog input or analog output)
3. Select the points that you are monitoring and then Edit
4. Scroll to the deadband setting and reduce this if you need a higher resolution for updates.  For example, if your point currently has a deadband of 5% (in the controller it will show 5.000) and you want to monitor changes greater than 0.5% then change the deadband setting from 5.000 to 0.5.

This should show you more frequent updates on the event polls.
