Unable to browse OPC Servers after installing a new OPC Client/Server
It is possible that the new OPC Server/Client is installing older versions of the OPC common *.DLL files, which are core to all OPC software products. These older versions are breaking functionality. Officially, all software should be using the latest versions provided by the OPC Foundation, at the same time Windows should not allow the installation of older version *.DLL files.
The solution here is to either:
- re-install the core OPC common files
- re-install the last OPC Application that was installed prior to the latest software installed
Once the up to date *.DLL files are in place, all OPC products will continue to work as normal.
