How Data Will Be Logged

What determines how the data looks when it is stored? Data can be presented in two different formats. They are Table format and Detail Format.

Table Mode

When using this format all data points will appear on the same row. There is an optional Timestamp value at the beginning of each row that is enabled by default. Below is a sample of how data will look when logged in Table Mode. For more information please refer to the Data Presentation section of the help file.

Detail Mode

When using this format you have more control over exactly which pieces of data for each item will be logged. You can choose to log between 1 and 19 attributes for each item. In this format each item will appear in its own row and contain the attributes you have specified to log. In the example below the Timestamp, Item ID, Value and Quality attributes are being logged for each item. For more information, please refer to the Data Presentation section of the help file.
