S5 135/U CPU 928B Write Protect Error 5129

I have recently purchased S5 for Windows. I am trying to modify a program but when I try to transfer the block to the PLC, I get "Error 5129 [CPLC] PLC error 0: The PLC write protector is active. The selected function is not possible."

Please download this latest update - Version 6.3.5.1

Then, check these preferences:
[Write protection Tab]

  • Forcing permitted
  • Writing variables permitted
  • Restoring of online blocks permitted
  • Transferring blocks to the PLC permitted
  • [UNCHECK] Disable all write operations to the PLC
This should solve the problem.
