TOP Server Siemens Suite Communicating with an S7-1200 (v5.2 and older)

Can the TOP Server Siemens Suite communicate with an S7-1200?  If so how do I need to configure the TOP Server?

The following applies to TOP Server Versions 5.2 and older. Starting with V5.3.118, the TOP Server Siemens S7 Ethernet driver has a specific device model when configuring Device Properties for S7-1200 controllers. Click to download the latest version of TOP Server

The TOP Server Siemens Suite can be configured to talk to an S7-1200 device. 

  1. Add a new channel that uses the Siemens TCP/IP Ethernet Device Driver
  2. Add a device
  3. Use the S7-200 Device Model
  4. Set the IP Address from your device
  5. Skip to the S7 Comm. Parameters section. You MUST set the Local TSAP and Remote TSAP to 0301 or 301

These are the only special settings required to communicate with the S7-1200.
