Can I monitor the connection to my device with the TOP Server?

I would like to be able to monitor the connection to my device to determine if I have lost a connection. Can I do this with the TOP Server?

Yes! The TOP Server creates a variety of built-in System Tags that can provide useful information regarding the status of your communications with a device.

Specifically, on the device level System tags, you can set up your client application to monitor the _Error tag to determine whether or not there is a problem with the device communications.
