Can I dynamically change the IP address of my device in the TOP Server?

Does the TOP Server allow me to change the IP address of my device without having to go back into the configuration mode?

Yes! The TOP Server will allow you to make runtime changes to your settings during Runtime. There are two ways you can change the IP address:

  1. Open the TOP Server and right click on the device. In the Device properties, click on the General tab and change the IP address in the textbox. Click apply to make the change.
  2. You can also change the IP address from your client application by writing to the _DeviceID device level System Tag.
