Location of Protocols and Configuration in OmniServer
In OmniServer V2.6 and prior, the .cfg (containing Topics and Devices) and .dpd (one for each Protocol) files were located at:C:\Program Files\Software Toolbox\OmniServerWhere are these files located in newer versions of OmniServer?
The file locations starting with V2.7 have changed due to support for newer operating systems, which required a specific location. The new location for protocols and configuration is listed below, based on your installed operating system.
Windows XP / Server 2003 Operating Systems:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Software Toolbox\OmniServer
Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / Server 2008 / Server 2012 Operating Systems (including 64-bit):
C:\ProgramData\Software Toolbox\OmniServer
