Freezing Behavior when using as Serial Driver and USB-to-Serial Converter (Brand: Cables To Go / Model #: 26886)
After 25 min - 2 hours the TOP Server Runtime stops without any error message. When that happens, Top Server Configuration times out attempting to connect to the runtime. Channel Diagnostics show no further sends or receives when this occurs. We are using a USB-to-DB9 Serial Converter from Cables To Go (Model 26886).
This particular USB-to-Serial converter has been shown to cause this particular issue. Swapping out the USB-to-Serial converter should resolve this issue.
