TOP Server Error: Connection sharing plug-in failed to load due to lack of driver support
On TOP Server startup an error "Unable to load plug-in DLL 'C:\Program Files\Software Toolbox\TOP Server 5\plugins\connection_sharing.dll'. Reason: 'Connection sharing plug-in failed to load due to lack of driver support.'" appears.
This warning indicates that the Connection Sharing plug-in was selected during the TOP Server install but none of the actual communications drivers installed support that particular functionality.
The Connection Sharing plug-in allows some of our serial drivers to share a COM connection (whereas it's normally restricted to one driver/protocol per COM connection).
