Installing TOP Server on a secondary hard drive
How do you install TOP Server (version 5.6 or later) onto a secondary hard drive? I get a error when I try to install it on anything but the C:/ drive.
This was not possible with TOP Server Version 5.0 to 5.5
A workaround was introduced in version 5.6 for people trying to install TOP Server on a secondary hard drive on a Windows 2008 R2 VM.
This bypass should also work for other operating systems as long as the path is valid.
From the command line, run the install with a /p switch.
Example:
"D:\TOPServer5.exe" /p
