Configuring TOP Server to communicate via an AN-X-DHP Ethernet-DH+ Gateway
Can TOP Server communicate with a PLC5 or SLC5 device on a DH+ network, via a Ethernet-DH+ Gateway. e.g. a Prosoft AN-X-DHP Gateway
Absolutely, the DH+ Gateway emulates having a 1756-ENET module communicating through a 1756-DHRIO module in slot 1.
In order to configure this in TOP Server, please verify that the following settings are correct:
Driver: Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Ethernet
Device: DH+ Gateway: <Specific Device>
Device ID: <DH+ Gateway IP Address>,1,1.A.<DH+ Node ID>
Please note that the server requires the DH+ Node ID to be in decimal, not Octal.
