Getting bad quality on tags using DNP3 driver but see communication in diagnostics

I am seeing bad quality for all of my tags using the DNP3 Driver.  If I look at the communication diagnostics, I can see that the TOP Server is receiving lengthy messages from the device, so I know that it is communicating.  I do not see any errors in the event log.  What could the problem be?

We have seen this issue in the past arise from a scenario where the authentication settings for the device do not match what is configured in the TOP Server.  For example, is the hardware is configured to send Aggressive Authentication messages, but TOP Server device does not have authentication enabled.

Please check the settings for your DNP hardware and make sure that the authentication settings match what is configured for the device in TOP Server.  The TOP Server authentication settings for the device can be accessed in the "Device Properties" window under the "Authentication" tab.
