Version 3.7.0.3 (December 4th, 2019)

  • Improved the OPC Data Logger performance when working with databases. Values are now logged to the database in a single transaction if the OPC Data Logger receives them from the OPC Server as a single transaction.
  • New feature for database keep-alives to improve the resiliency and reliability when logging to a database. In rare occasions it was observed that a firewall could terminate a connection between the OPC Data Logger and a Database if data inserts were extremely infrequent. This could result in data loss if the database rejected subsequent connection attempts from the OPC Data Logger. This new feature allows for periodic queries to be configured, preventing the connecting from sitting idle.
  • Improved on the column naming schema when letting OPC Data Logger generate the database table. Item names can now be used instead of Tag1, Tag2, Tag3, Tag4, etc.

Version 3.7.0.2 (September 30th, 2019)

  • Fixed an issue where the OPC Data Logger ignored the FormatString field when logging a timestamp to MySQL
  • Added a default project file path for OPC Data Logger configurations
  • New Feature allows data insert retries to be configurable. This allows the OPC Data Logger to clear the data buffer after a certain number of retries if data inserts are failing.

Version 3.7.0.1 (August 2nd, 2019)

  • New Feature that allows the OPC Data Logger to only log a single file header to Text/CSV file formats (look for this setting on the Header tab of the Text Storage Settings)
  • Fixed an item import issue that could occur when importing OPC Tag CSV Files from certain OPC Servers
  • Added improved spanning capabilities to the Text/CSV Data Storage - to allow file spanning to include seconds and/or milliseconds in the file name, and to allow file spanning names to use a 24 hour time format

Version 3.6.0.12 (January 21st, 2019)

Version 3.6.0.6 (December 6th, 2017)

  • Added a powerful new feature in that the OPC UA interface to allow logging of queued OPC UA Server. In systems where the sample rate is lower than the publish interval - this makes sure that no data loss can occur.
