Honeywell DCS and 620 Series OPC Server

The TOP Server Honeywell Suite works with the UDC 3000 and UDC 3300 series systems via Modbus RTU protocol. Those Honeywell DCS systems use Modbus RTU with some special features that we have taken care of in the driver. To the best of our knowledge the "Total Plant Solution" DCS and the 620 series use different protocols.

We suggest you contact Honeywell and ask them if the hardware you speak of uses the same protocols as the UDC 3000 and UDC 3300 or if they use plain Modbus RTU serial protocol -- if they do then either the above driver or our standard Modbus RTU serial OPC server would work.
