Solution: OPC Data Logger Mixed Mode Assembly Error

I am seeing the following Error after installing the OPC Data Logger on my machine:

Error 'Mixed mode assembly is built against version 'v1.0.37.05' of the runtime and cannot be loaded in the 4.0 runtime without additional configuration information.'...

What does this error mean?

Unfortunately, this is a known issue that can happen with the current release of OPC Data Logger when installing it on a machine that has never run OPC Data Logger before.

Our development team is working on getting this issue resolved, so please let us know if you are running into this problem and we will make sure you are provided with the fixed build.

As a fix, please download the two configuration files attached here, and copy them to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Software Toolbox\OPC Data Logger directory - overwriting the files that are there. Restart OPC Data Logger and the problem will be resolved.
