Installing Wonderware SuiteLink Common Components
I want to use TOP Server with a Wonderware SuiteLink client, but don't have the Wonderware SuiteLink Common Components installed. Where can I find the Common Components to install?
The SuiteLink Common Components are included in the AVEVA System Platform installer, which can be obtained from your local AVEVA distributor.
Selecting OI Gateway and/or the Configurator will install the necessary components for the SuiteLink service on your machine. Depending on if TOP Server was installed before the common components, the next step might vary:
TOP Server not installed
- Install the TOP Server, making sure that the FastDDE/SuiteLink client is selected for installation under the "Native Client Interfaces" section on the Feature Selection step of the installer
TOP Server already installed
- Re-run the TOP Server installer
- Select "Modify" when prompted
- On the feature selection step of the installer verify that the "FastDDE/SuiteLink" feature (under the Native Client Interfaces section) was set to be installed
- Finish the installer to complete the setup
