Change in TOP Server OPC ProgID in Version 6 - Can I still use the previous ProgID?

I want to upgrade my system, but we have some client software that is hard-coded to connect to the old TOP Server OPC ProgID and the TOP Server V6 OPC ProgID has changed.  What can I do? 

After the installation of TOP Server V6:

  1. Right-click on the Administration Icon in the System Tray and select Settings
  2. Select the ProgID Redirect tab and click select "Add".
  3. Manually enter the appropriate ProgID:
    1. Version 4 ProgID: SWToolbox.TOPServer
    2. Version 5 ProgID: SWToolbox.TOPServer.V5
    3. Version 6 ProgID: SWToolbox.TOPServer.V6
