TOP Server 6.x Installer Crash - "Installer has stopped working"

The TOP Server installer is crashing during the installation with an error message stating "Installer has stopped working."

The exception code I receive is "c0000417"

It appears this happens when the pre-requisites, specifically the VC++ Redistributables, are being installed. How can I install TOP Server v6 on my machine?

When we have seen this occur, users are able to workaround this issue by disabling Data Execution Prevention (DEP).  With DEP disabled, we are able to run the installer successfully.  After installing TOP Server, we suggest that DEP be re-enabled.
