Oracle ODBC Driver with TOP Server V6
What version of the Oracle ODBC driver should I have when using the TOP Server ODBC Client Driver to connect to my Oracle Database?
The recommended ODBC driver for Oracle Database connections from TOP Server is the Oracle Instant Client v12.02.00.01. Any versions newer than this are not currently compatible with the TOP Server ODBC Client Driver.
TOP Server is a 32-bit application and any ODBC driver must be installed as 32-bit to make a connection. By default, TOP Server Runtime is installed as a service and must be configured through Microsoft's ODBC Data Source Adminstrator (32-bit) as a System DSN to make an ODBC connection. If the TOP Server Runtime was instead in Interactive mode, then the database should be configured as a User DSN instead.
