Does TOP Server Support Communications with the Siemens ET 200S CPU?
Depending on the ET 200S CPU and communications modules installed, the device can support the Profibus, Profinet, Siemens TCP/IP, or Siemens MPI protocols. The IM151-8 PN/DP CPU supports both Profinet and Siemens TCP/IP.
Although device-specific support has not been added to TOP Server, the Siemens TCP/IP Ethernet driver can communicate with this device. When configuring the device in TOP Server, the user will need to select "S7-300" as the device model.
Siemens S7 TCP/IP Ethernet is included in both the TOP Server Siemens Suite and the TOP Server Siemens Plus Suite. (For reference, if you also have S7-1200 or S7-1500 devices that you require symbolic item addressing for, you'll need the Siemens Plus Suite.)
