Multiple Configuration User Access for TOP Server V6.12

Affected Versions of TOP Server:

After a security enhancement to the latest releases of TOP Server V6.12, the function of opening multiple configuration windows across users in the same machine was modified and as a result only one session of the Configuration and Administration can be executed. A permanent solution, including the security enhancements, is in now available in the latest versions of TOP Server V6.13 and later. 

 

The typical behavior is that the first instance of TOP Server opened under a user with, appropriate permissions, will be given Read/Write access to the configuration. Any subsequent configuration sessions will be limited to Read only rights. 

 

Users running V6.12 of TOP Server requiring this functionality will need to upgrade to a newer release of V6.13 or newer. To confirm your license upgrade eligibility, please contact our team with your TOP Server license information: support@softwaretoolbox.com
