NEW ADVISORY (Updated: 04/19/2024) - KEPServerEX V5 Known Licensing Issues
It has been reported that any KEPServerEX V5 licenses that are being newly activated or transferred will appear to be activated successfully, but remain in demo mode.
This issue is actively being investigated, but the current cause is unknown. Some important notes to make:
- This ONLY affects KEPServerEX V5 and not V6
- This does NOT affect any versions of TOP Server
- This will not affect any existing KEPServerEX V5 installations that were licensed before March 2024
If you are a Software Toolbox customer affected by this issue before a permanent resolution is found, please contact us at support@softwaretoolbox.com to obtain a 30-day temporary license as a short-term workaround, or discuss options for upgrading to V6
