Omron Host Link Communication Error

I am receiving the following error in the TOP Server event log: "Default User Omron Host Link Communications error on COM9 [*****P*]."

The error you are receiving is a byte parity error. Either you have the wrong parity set for one of your devices, or there is noise on the line causing the problem.
