I don't see the Industrial Gadgets ActiveX in the list of controls in my container

I have installed the Industrial Gadgets ActiveX but I cannot find them in the list of ActiveX controls in my container.

The names for the Industrial Gadgets ActiveX controls that will appear in some containers are:

  • GX3PosSwitchControl
  • GXButtonControl
  • GXIllumButtonControl
  • GXLight Control
  • GXPanel Control
  • GXSwitch Control

In VB6, you find the control as "Industrial Gadgets Library 1".  In VB.NET, you find them by the class names that are within the Industrial Gadgets Library 1 shown above.  Other containers may do one or the other; it is dependent on the container.
