How to maintain correct format in Excel when importing Addresses exported from TOP Server?
Do you know any "tricks" for maintaining the correct formatting of bit level data when data is exported to CSV and opened in Excel? For example: In the Modbus TOP Server I might have two tags: 400003.1 400003.10 When the are exported to CSV and opened in Excel, they both appear as: 400003.1 If I set the decimal number format to two decimal spaces they both appear as: 400003.10
Rename the CSV to a TXT. This will cause Excel to open a dialog asking you how to import the data. Just specify in that screen that this particular column should be imported as Text.
