Cogent DataHub Licensing Activation Instructions

Use the steps below to activate your Cogent DataHub license after installing the software.

Instructions

  1. Download and run the installer.
    Complete the installation of Cogent DataHub on the target machine.

  2. Open the DataHub properties.
    Launch Cogent DataHub and open the Properties window.

  3. Select the Licenses icon.
    In the Properties window, click the Licenses icon to open the licensing section.

  4. Select Enter a License…
    Click Enter a License… to open the license entry field.

  5. Copy the license code from your email.
    Copy the full license code exactly as provided, including all {: characters.

  6. Paste the license code into the entry field.
    Paste the complete license code into the license entry field and confirm the entry, press apply to save.

Important Notes

  • Make sure the license code is copied exactly as it appears in the email.
  • Do not remove any characters, including colons & brackets ({:).  
  • If the license does not activate, check for extra spaces before or after the pasted code.
  • Ensure any upgrade codes are applied, DataHub requires a valid license for the version installed. A V9 license would require a matching V11 upgrade code to correctly license a V11 installation.
