Activation Center Errors - TOP Server
This article covers the most common registration errors and how to resolve them.
When activating TOP Server using the Software Toolbox Activation Center, you may encounter errors during registration. These are typically caused by incorrect files, corrupted request data, or unsupported input.
Common Registration Errors
"License key has already been registered"

Use the "License Recovery" tab to generate a new activation code for a different machine
"License expired or not eligible"

Your maintenance period may have expired. Contact sales to renew your license
"Network or server error"

Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, contact support@softwaretoolbox.com for assistance
"Activation ID Not Found"

The Activation ID from the request file could not be found in our system. Verify the request file and Activation ID used, then try again
“Error processed during activation: Cannot continue, the request is corrupt”

The request file was corrupted during transfer between machines. Ensure the file is zipped before moving it between machines.

An unsupported character was used in the Machine Name. Ensure only standard Roman characters (a-z, A-Z) and numbers are used in the Machine Name.
