How long is the TOP Server OPC UA certificate valid for? Can I modify this or use my own certificate?
Any OPC UA certificate created with the TOP Server OPC UA Configuration Manager is valid for 3 years, and can be re-issued for another 3 years from the OPC UA Configuration Manager under "Instance Certificates - Reissue certificate"
In order to utilize a certificate with a different validity, you will need to utilize a PKCS12-formatted certificate with both the instance certificate and private key, created by a third-party signer such as Verisign.This can then be imported to the OPC UA Configuration Manager under "Instance Certificates - Import certificate"
You can export TOP Server's existing OPC UA certificate from the OPC UA Configuration Manager ("Instance Certificates - Export server certificate" for TOP Server's UA Server functionality's certificate or "Instance Certificates - Export client driver certificate" for TOP Server's OPC UA Client Driver's certificate) for reference.
