This is a rollup release of several minor/patch releases. Major highlights and points of value are listed here. For prior versions release history or specific questions, please contact support. If you are an ISV/OEM licensee who embeds this product into your product, please contact your licensee relationship manager to obtain your ISV/OEM licensee binaries.

Additional Features

  • In user defined categories, multiple symbols can be imported in a single step
  • Export/copy/paste/drag/drop of SVG format from User Defined categories 
  • More symbols added to Basic Shapes category

Operating System Support Expansion

  • Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 Support added
  • Windows 10 and 11 supported

General Improvements

  • Addressed appearance issue in minimize/maximize buttons
  • Addressed issue with the application window properly retaining its last stored size across restarts in some scenarios
  • Security improvements to binaries used to support legacy Symbol Factory 2.x symbol files
  • Improvements in speed of symbol search
  • Default background color setting issue addressed
  • Addressed issue with difference between source and exported SVG symbols for some symbols in the Maps and Flags category
  • Stroke with modified on symbols in several categories where it was determined a narrower stroke improved the appearance of the symbols in some use cases
  • Resolved issue with exports in GIF/PNG where in some cases a black rather than transparent background was exported
  • Various security updates including FIPS compliance for the application and category files
  • Addressed issue when attempting to import a category file with raster symbols as basic symbols format, which is not supported. Users are now warned that they need to import the category as Enhanced Symbols
  • License management improvements added that directly improve the security of software
